1. Why does your company feel like G.o.r.i.l.l.a Circle Street Wear is the Real G.o.r.i.l.l.a
Brand?
It’s all about standing out! With so many crazy missioned clothing lines out right now,
“Real” separates us from the current clutter, especially the current gorilla clutter. The
fact that we are coming from the heart and coming from way left field to fill a need gives
us a “Real” advantage, and “Real” was the only word heavy enough for our brand. Moreover
everyone is always hollering gorilla this gorilla that, but an imitation gorilla will never
command the same respect as this Real G.o.r.i.l.l.a. Plus, we are coming from the heart that’s
why our people feel this, we keeping it “Real”, the others are not even keeping it realistic!
2. Why is G.o.r.i.l.l.a Circle Street Wear exclusively celebrating Black and Brownfolks?
We are exclusively celebrating Black and Brownfolks because; until the lion tells his own story the
tale of the hunt will always glorify the hunter.
3. Why does your company connect Black and Brown with man, men, woman, women, child, and folks when
writing?
Black and Brown is the divine essence in which we were created, so we’re just trying to connect us
back to our essence, which is Black. It has been said if you put that good energy out there
after awhile it will take hold in the subject.
4. Why does your company use Blackman, Blackwoman, Blackfolks, so on and so forth, instead
of African, African-American, African Canadian, so on and so forth?
The latter is such a divisive language and we have been and still are victims of its actions.
Therefore, we are striving to bring our family back together, though we were born and
bred in different places, our Genesis is still Black!
5. What is the meaning of True when your company uses it?
True is The Real Untouchable Essence of this Black or Brown. When you love this Black or this Brown, hug this
Black or this Brown and place no one above this Black or this Brown you are being True. So, doing you is being True!
6. What are Blackfolksville, Brownfolksville and Real G.o.r.i.l.l.aville?
Those are three city names which are one in the same that we came up with that we feel best
represent Black and Brownfolks. The cities give us a common ground in which we can celebrate a
location with Black and Brownfolks in mind. The different locations just show the world that our
bloodline is longer than train smoke. The great thing about it is that we will all
represent the same city. Our city collection mantra is, One City One Family One Love.
7. What is the meaning of Asiatic?
Before all these different continents came about there, was just one continent called
Al-Asia and the Original Black Nation that inhabited the continent were called Asiatic.
I like to say it also stands for Black Beauty, Black Strength, and Black Wisdom.
8. If G.o.r.i.l.l.a Circle Street Wear is exclusively celebrating Black and Brownfolks, what about
everyone else?
Black and Brownfolks have whole-heartedly celebrated everyone else for as long as we can remember.
So busy doing that that we have forgotten about ourselves. Therefore, we are about to
celebrate us whole-heartedly now!
9. Hold on, who is this Brownman and Brownwoman that your company is talking about?
The Brownman and Brownwoman are our Spanish, Latino, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Dominican so on and so forth
whatever you choose to call them, we just call them our Brownfolks!
10. What does G.o.r.i.l.l.a Circle Street Wear mean when you say don’t mis – take exploitation
for representation?
We as people mis - take this exploitation of us for representation of us, for example; the
people who control the movie industry money; control the movies, the people who control the
music industry money; control the music, and the people who control the fashion industry
money; control the fashions. We must realize through those three entities they have been
exploiting the family for years. They keep us acting, rapping, and singing foolishness and
they keep us naked. They have us thinking that we are really doing us when actuality we
are doing them. So, do not mistake them exploiting us for representing us.
11. Why does your company use a gorilla as its logo, are you calling your folks apes?
No, we are not calling our folks gorillas. This Real G.o.r.i.l.l.a is an action not
a living being. It is the gaining of the knowledge that we were and have been deprived of.
It’s Gaining On Realities Inna Land Lost Already!
12. What about when people start using the term derogatively?
It definitely will not be something we have not heard before. However, in the spirit of
some wise old Black words, it is not about what people call you it is about what you answer
to! And, when someone says something about you being a gorilla, you just say you right I
am Gaining On Realities Inna Land Lost Already.
13. What is the direct mission of G.o.r.i.l.l.a Circle Street Wear?
We want to let Black and Brownfolk experience the difference between the other people telling you
you’re being celebrated versus your Brothers and Sisters standing up and showing you, you are
being celebrated!
